A little help with your next frame.
Answers for OsomeFrame on iPhone and iPad.
Choose a video
Tap the video selection button and choose a clip from your photo library. If the clip is stored only in iCloud, connect to the internet and allow it to download first.
Version 1.2 uses Apple’s picker, so you can share only your chosen video with OsomeFrame.
Save or share a frame
Pause the video, move the timeline to your chosen moment, and tap Save Frame. The iOS share sheet opens. Choose Save Image to add it to Photos, or choose another destination to share or save the file.
In version 1.2, cancelled or failed exports do not use your daily allowance. Earlier versions count a generated image even if you cancel the share sheet.
Free exports and formats
The free version allows three JPEG exports per day at standard quality. The allowance resets each day. Pro unlocks unlimited daily exports, PNG and HEIF, and high or maximum-quality export settings. Pro is a one-time purchase; the current price appears in the app before you buy.
Restore Pro
Use the Apple Account that made the original purchase. Open OsomeFrame Settings and choose Restore Purchases. An internet connection is required. If the purchase is still pending, wait for Apple to complete it before trying again.
Image quality
A saved frame is limited by the resolution, focus, movement and compression in the source video. Choosing a higher export quality cannot restore detail that was not captured. Try nearby moments if a subject is blurred.
Missing recent videos
Version 1.2 remembers recent videos and your last selected position. iOS can clear cached video copies; if a clip is unavailable, choose it again from Photos. Keep the original video in your library. Earlier versions keep recents only for the running session.
Purchase or refund help
Apple processes App Store payments. Review your purchase or request a refund from Apple.
